FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – August 26, 2006
Austin, TX – Dan'l™ Guitars, Inc., a startup guitar company from Austin, Texas earned Best of 2007 accolades from reviewer, writer Daniel East following the close of the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. The Dan'l Saturn IV™ bass was one of only 10 products and the only bass that made the exclusive list. East writes " the tone, feel and look of the Dan'l Saturn IV [basses] have their own signature that creates the sense of an upright bass with the appearance of a stunning custom instrument."
The Saturn IV bass shown at NAMM was made of zebrawood & oak with a maple neck & rosewood fingerboard. Bartolini pickups (one jazz style and one split coil P-style), provides a wide voice range with independent volume & tone rosewood controls. Strings anchor at Schaller™ tuners and bridge for either top load or string through body loading.
Besides the ergonomically designed Saturn IV, two electric guitar models were also shown, the futuristic looking Pfazer and the first production sample of the Dan'l X-CalibR. This was the first time Dan'l Guitars were shown at NAMM. The first endorser for the new line is Country Music Hall of Famer, Johnny Lee ("Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places").
